About

The Short of It

AutoAdvisor Is Your Friend in the Automobile Business. AutoAdvisor exists because of daily criminal behavior exhibited by automobile executives, parts suppliers, dealerships and salespeople. No one likes the continual misrepresentation, lying, overcharging, by dealers, automakers, money lenders, and insurance companies toward individuals.

Our Founder is Passionate about Having the Best Appropriate Technology Tailored to an Individual at the Absolute Lowest Price

AutoAdvisor levels the playing field with instant knowledge and action. We enjoy serving consumers and assisting concerned individuals to get the exact product they want. We prevent all sorts of disappointment and trouble. AutoAdvisor creates opportunity for buyers.

Seriously, automobiles are great fun. Driving is exciting even intoxicating at speed. Sensation seekers, velocity addicts, and gearheads love the shinny new of it all. AutoAdvisor Knows to Keep It Positive with directed conversation in your favor. We are empathetic to you. We too have been victims. Automobile transactions are a deliberately confusing and drawn out. AutoAdvisor is dedicated to good, clear understanding and no overcharging.

Automobiles are likely the most expensive and complex appliance you will buy. Vehicle expenses keep going up. Your wasted time is costly. Individual owners overpay thousands. AutoAdvisor reads and checks your confusing contracts and numbers. AutoAdvisor improves your position before signing and paying.

Don’t compromise your safety. Each one of us is likely be in a crash within the next 10 years. Each day because of car crashes about 100 people perish in our United States. Thousands more individuals are permanently maimed. Automobile crashes are the number one cause of paraplegia, quadriplegia and facial disfigurement. Victims require years of psychiatry. Damage can be avoided.

Car are exciting and buying is emotional. That’s why we focus on the transaction. It’s at the intersection of money and health. Both lives and money can be saved, catastrophe averted and enjoyment increased in one swoop. It’s where the action is.

AutoAdvisor has always been your advocate during finance and purchase in the showroom or where you need it. We DoubleCheck your numbers, add-ons and contract features to improve your position.

The Long Of It

Overpriced, bad products with little consumer protection continue as our catalyst. There was no business like AutoAdvisor when we opened in 1977. AutoAdvisor was first of a type, new age. Both Money Magazine and Smart Money Magazine used and quoted AutoAdvisor regularly. Nobody had the price and information we had.

AutoAdvisor is a value disruptor for brand-names. Automakers continue to spend more on image than safety. In the beginning we exclusively recommended what an individual ought buy, why and how. We arranged repetitive test drives for convenience. With your exact product decided; we discussed your purchase strategy. Then it took 30 minutes to teach the 10 Minute Negotiator.

We would coach before and debrief after. Mentoring a great outcome. Our clients felt as if they had conquered Mount Everest. We always give maximum control of the purchase by opening doors you didn’t know existed. Nobody offers choices and proven solutions like AutoAdvisor.

Our clients learned to be Super Shoppers. Empowered with new capitalist tools. The empowered Super Shopper only pounces when the moment is right. They’re educated about the marketplace. We teach individuals how to be scrupulous capitalists considering emotional urges.

As long standing members of the automotive press we drive and sample hundreds of cars and trucks per year so we knew product intimately. In essence AutoAdvisor tailors the automobile to fit you holistically.

Better Buy Bargain

So many AutoAdvisor clients wanted us to negotiate for them. So AutoAdvisor was first to develope a system to consistently research the marketplace to achieve the Absolute Lowest Price on all makes and models in all 50 states.

Boy, new car dealers were mad. We had to get Governors, Attorney General’s and Legislators involved to veto anticonsumer anticompetitive legislation designed to specifically shut down AutoAdvisor . Newspaper, TV and Radio Stations lost millions of dollars from car dealer’s advertising boycotts. Automobile dealers didn’t want the media telling the truth about the excellent quality of our unique Newsworthy service.

AutoAdvisor was first to recognize and address the automobile marketplace as the daily fluctuating stockmarket it is. We harnessed this information to the buyer’s advantage.

AutoAdvisor was first to work exclusively for the buyer. Hence America’s first Automobile Buyer’s Service. A Buyer’s Service is distinctly different than a broker by states laws. AutoAdvisor was first to charge one flat service price for any model car or truck anywhere in the United States. AutoAdvisor was first to do this with an 800-number nationwide. 800-number cost free calling from any phone, before the age of wireless phones. Before only brokers who worked for dealers existed. We are proud of our ethical differences. We always fight for the individuals we serve. We enjoy service.

Getting The Scoop

AutoAdvisor founders worked as columnist, researchers, espionage agents, humorous automotive radio show hosts and automotive writers for the AAA, Bottom Line Newsletter, Medical Economics, Sport Car Market, Automotive News, Reuters, Money and Smart Money magazines among others providing exact information. We had Automobile pricing and product information nobody else had or knew how to collect. Our sources are first-hand, direct.

AutoAdvisor‘s work is thorough, detailed and Nationwide. We work with Every automobile manufacturer and Every retailer in the United States. AutoAdvisor has intimate relations with the automakers, touring assembly plants, factories, laboratories, design studios, proving grounds, racetracks and more. We drive experimental or prototype or preproduction and always random production vehicles.

Mitsubishi would take us on a private jet to fly over their new assembly plant. Volvo would fly us to Hawaii to sample their latest convertible. Honda would have us standing next to a high speed government crash test with instrumented dummies and airbags exploding. Ford would explode a real airbag right in our face. Porsche sent us to Finland in the Arctic Circle to prove durability. Jaguar flew us to England then to the wine country of France for a road test and it went on and on for decades.

Traveling to the world’s finest resorts to learn about and drive the newest unreleased designs with automaker engineers, CEOs, CFOs, brand managers, production managers, factory managers, suppliers, designers, stylists, marketing, folks and more. All of them intelligent, knowledgeable, well dressed and well spoken. It is Disneyland for an automotive addict.

Exactitude

Half the time AutoAdvisor researchers are with the world’s most powerful manufacturers juxtaposition spending the other half with individual consumers. All the time we are understanding and Tailoring automobiles to our individuals. By Tailoring automobiles to our clients we got to know products intimately.

AutoAdvisor clients demand high value. Our clients are curious. Our clients are seeking answers that stop ripoff, improve safety, decrease pollution or improve economy. We offer understandable explanations with a choice of solutions.

At first our clients were local. We met face-to-face. Professors, pilots, politicians, lawyers, psychologists, medical doctors, architects, engineers and other information demanding individuals whose time is precious. Our individual clients and couples would each fill out a thought provoking questionnaire.

An interview, listening carefully to each person’s desires followed. AutoAdvisor would fill our clients desires with two maybe three cars to try on, with exacting features.

Horseflesh

After World War II, cars were king, Cadillac Was the “Mark of Excellence” and Nobody trusted automobile dealers or related businesses. Buyer’s continue to distrust automobile sales. There remains a deliberate lack of accuracy and honesty by the seller. How does it continue?

As a youngster was I curious to find out whether all this talk about criminal activities of dealers and automakers is true. I found out! Back in the day, say, a century ago there was a great deal of ego and honor tied up and being a good judge of horseflesh. This directly transfers to personal transportation today. There is still a lot of ego involved. Most of us buy the advertised image not sensible researched appliance. What is the true value of a particular car or truck to me?

A tightfisted, well-educated, savvy Manhattan resident always demands the best for the least. The New York megalopolis offers unparalleled choice and points of purchase. Shopping competition has always been keen. I was trained by older shrewd, tightfisted, well-educated, smart buyers. There was a time when people knew the labor and materials it took to shoe a horse.

Technology is tricky. Shopping is tricky. Decades ago when there were no window stickers, lemon laws, Environmental Protection Agency, recalls, odometer laws, rebates or hardly any consumer protection laws, pricing was inconsistent. Information was sparse and everybody lied. As a youngster making mistakes, I was fed up. Nobody was helping the consumer at point-of-purchase when money, signatures and years of obligation were flying.

Unspeakable Cost

Automobiles continue to kill twice as many Americans as all US involved wars. I ask, “Where Is the War?” The war is on the road. It’s an epidemic that continues within our vial pandemic. For each automobile related death there are 30 people injured or permanently maimed. Automobiles are the largest cause of paraplegia, quadriplegia and facial disfigurement. Many crash victims require psychiatry.

There is no price you can put on the loss of a loved one. You cannot purchase life. A loved one’s life is priceless, except to insurance companies. Insurance companies have your worth calculated to the dollar. The cost of accidental death and bodily damage is billions of dollars per year . Millions of work hours are also lost. An estimated 1 million animals are killed by motor vehicles per year. The harm is so costly in ways money has nothing to do with. Motor vehicles cause great grief.

Motor vehicles continue as a major source of environmental damage.

Measurable Costs

A home usually goes up in value and becomes a good investment over time while you’re living in it. Automobiles like other appliances lose money fast. So Appliance dealers are coercive; encouraging you to spend and waste money. Although fun, most collector cars are lost money, financial quicksand.

Thousands of dollars for marketing and advertising are built into each car. Your advertising dollars encourage you pay more. Your advertising dollars push you to buy more. Prices are based on image. Prices are always at the limits of reason. Automobiles are the most expensive object most Americans will buy. A majority of Americans own at least 2 motor vehicles.

Pro-Consumer news has been put out of fashion. Reporters cover stories that can’t hit back economically. Advertising managers control News producers. Automobiles cannot be treated seriously by the media because it harms advertising revenue. Automobile reviews are not balanced. Critics avoid criticizing.

Automobiles are a tremendous financial and legal burden, treated casually. The burden is obfuscated by the makers, financiers and sellers. Social pressure, influence, emotions, marketing magic and hidden facts are weapons.

We are conditioned and somewhat controlled by advertising. Subliminal marketing, brainwashing and mesmerizing are legal and in use selling automobiles. There are no laws to protect you from hammering advertising. There are no laws to protect you from hammering sales people.

Automobile dealers are the fulcrum of America’s Largest consumer complaint. Typically we spend too much for more than we need. Americans volunteer away their consumer legal rights while overpaying.

You show me a brand-new automobile or truck and I’ll show you defects.

First You Must Get Mad As Hell

In 1975 the United States Congress, Office of Technology Assessment announced there will be a 25% increase in new job types and titles before the start of the next century. Technology was ushering in the Computer Age and with it the Age of Information.

Buyer Ignorance makes overcharging easy. There were only mechanics and salesmen in 1977, no Independent Automobile Consultant or Automobile Transaction specialist for consumers. Somebody who could guide consumers to an attractive, reliable, safer automobile for much less money and less time as to create good value did not exists.

Individuals benefit when hiring an architect, attorney, engineer or accountant. But there was no help to hire about considering transportation with personal financial values. The AutoAdvisor idea of keeping individuals away from physical and financial damage before the point-of-sale grew. We explain product and price so individuals are empowered to make educated choices.

We opened in July 1977. Understanding human factors for each driver is our secret. Matching individuals to vehicles that meet their desires, psyche and constraints create satisfaction and safety. We actually tailored cars to driver leg length and shoe size. After our first decade we knew we had succeeded.

Our clients are always teaching us something. An engineer tell us about a new welding technique. A lawyer teaches us how she gets out of a bad contract clause. A chiropractor demonstrates the best driver seating positions for awareness. A psychologist shows us a new way to think about an old problem. An ophthalmologist shows us our blind spots and how to see safer. Everybody has dreams of what products and services they want in the future. Our clients thoughts forms our future.

Clients show us the failure of new designs and products. Our clients are debriefed about their test drive vehicle and experience. This is where the alchemy happens. Shared information is golden. We knew in quick order that headlight wipers, passive seatbelts and the first US build Volkswagens would fail. Our clients; aware and innocent test drivers are clear as crystal about what works.

AutoAdvisor has fleets of individuals consistently sharing vehicle data and opinions. Often there is a symbiosis encouraged by the machines design that fits well with our clients mind and body. For the most success each vehicle is specially ordered from the manufacturer, as all production vehicles can be now. Tailoring an automobile to an individuals size, shape and psyche, leads to a greater enjoyment, longer ownership, lower operating costs and we believe greater safety.

Hungry Hungry

In the beginning automobile dealers surprised us with their hunger for business. We are offered kickbacks, confidential information and all the vehicle invoices we could eat. We had volume. Many dealers were uncomfortable that we would not take their kickbacks. We would usually shop 30 or more new car dealers just to buy one car or truck. There are always a few managers that are good guys. Good guys reveal the ever-changing hidden money deals. Whatever dealer had the absolute lowest price was happy to sign our Pro- Buyer sales agreement.

Having signed automobile contracts from across our nation was golden. Nobody had evidence and proof of purchase like AutoAdvisor. Financial magazines used our firsthand researched pricing information above others. Our inside information helped launch businesses like Chrome Data now the largest supplier of Internet auto pricing information and Drive Shop who rounds up the auto press for the automakers. We enjoyed researching JD Powers while doing research for JD Powers.

Buyer’s Voice

AutoAdvisor worked with automobile buyers planning months ahead. AutoAdvisor worked with automakers who are planning years ahead. Automakers depend on the press, use the press and share secrets with the press for many things. Through the decades again and again automakers continue to tell the press that they listen to the, “Voice of the Buyer”.

Listening to the Voice of the Buyer is the job of AutoAdvisor! Our clients did not fill out controlled multiple-choice questionnaires for a profitable result. Our clients answered questions about their lives, values and product choices in sentence and paragraph form. Interviews after. Automaker priorities can actually be matched to individual priorities to create a dream machine that serves well for a longer time.

With all things considered AutoAdvisor arranged test drives for particular models with particular features juxtaposition a quality competitor. There would be a listening session about fit, appropriateness and value. A 2nd more accurate test drive is often necessary for the best decision.

Shopping Science

Our clients wanted us to go fetch. Anybody can go fetch. Anybody can get a discount. Our founder needed to contribute something better. Develop something valuable, something to help the underserved, overcharged consumer, something to help the uninformed buyer, something that fights for the buyer as much as the sellers fights to take money. This is the Sport, this is the excitement, this is the fun of it all.

There is a science to shopping. There is a science to accurately find then create the Absolute Lowest Price. AutoAdvisor had to prove this point in front of attorneys the press and other investigating bodies numerous times including our clients daily. The AutoAdvisor system would consistently produce the Absolute Lowest Price. Not a good price, not the best price, not a fair price but the Absolute Lowest Price for our buyer.

Our technique to achieve the lowest price consistently on exactly the automobile our client wanted was verified over decades again and again. Our Researched Guarantee of Absolute Lowest Price worked. We worked with state officials, licensing departments, Attorney General’s office and the legislature to develop laws that define the Buyer’s Agent. Our distinction allows us to work with all the new and used car dealers. This is difficult and time-consuming yet there is always a payoff for our clients benefit and our knowledge.

Where The Action Is

The action is in the Magic Room or anywhere signatures are gathered and money is paid. AutoAdvisor’s with you in the Magic Room nationwide, wherever signatures are gathered.

Selling dealer’s keep buyers in the Magic Room longer to take more money. Sales people are of course polite and smiling while tactics continue tricky and deceitfull. Most often thousands of dollars are lost and legal rights taken during a car transaction.

Have an AutoAdvisor specialist empathetically oversee your Transaction the way you like. AutoAdvisor is with you to cut your losses, keep your rights and maximize your outcome. Please Invite AutoAdvisor to assist you. We are affordable and limited.

Dedicated to Your Success

You are Searching. Searching to find the best and learn something New. The ABOUT page is where I go after the front page. Read them both. Don’t you want to know where the website is coming from? Is there a genuine heartfelt motive? Friend or foe? Information or product sales? Genuine, authentic and original is what you’ll find here.

AutoAdvisor is a specifically designed Pro-Consumer business. developes original tactics to manipulate dealers for buyers. We are not a one trick pony repentant car dealer publishing the latest. We are not inexperienced writers publishing hearsay articles about how to buy a car that won’t upset the advertisers.

AutoAdvisor’s experience is a deep and broad. Our well educated clients have taught us many improvisational, guerrilla tactics that are dynamite adding to our original work. Our professional full-time, well researched negotiators suck bankable information from dealer management we could use for our clients continuously. We became a factory of consumer goodness.

AutoAdvisor opened its doors in 1977 as the first Automotive Consulting and Buyer’s Service in the United States. There was no listing for Automotive Consulting at that time in the now antiquated Yellow Pages. Our original telephone number 206-323-1976 has been the same for 42 years. After the telephone monopoly was broken in 1985 we got one of the early 800 numbers; 800-326-1976. Before cell phones you could pick up any payphone everywhere and 50 states and dial us without a coin. This high-tech customer service in the last century.

Personal Nationwide Service is our focus. You need to be exclusive to create the lowest price. In 1986 we purchased some of the first computer fax cards. In the middle of the night when rates were cheapest we automatically searched for vehicles and prices.

Working 100% for our clients we were able to work with 100% of the dealers in our 50 United States. We developed a system that could guarantee the absolute lowest price of any make, any model, anywhere in the United States. State governments investigated us and all the national magazines checked us out. A few of the financial magazines did blind comparative tests.

Money Magazine used our research regularly from 1988. The Wall Street Journal’s Smart Money Magazine featured us in their premier 1992 issue. We worked for both financial magazines well into the new century. We supplied insight, market data and independent pricing data. Only to benefit the individual consumer.

In 1979 The American Automobile Association hired us to write a monthly column. In no time we were writing articles, doing research for print, radio and television nationwide. I was delighted to be given weekly radio and television shows on network affiliates.

A forward thinking computer scientist who worked for AutoAdvisor in 1989 foretold of coming computer technology that would change the world. It sounded terrific yet difficult to comprehend. Originating right here in the US sending a ripple round the world. The words, Internet and World Wide Web were not in our vocabulary yet.

AutoAdvisor.com went live with our first website in 1994. As time passed so did sophistication and automation. At the beginning of the new century our capacity grew because of computers via networking could handle so much.

So to repeat in 1977 AutoAdvisor opened to support and educate consumers. In 1979, Jean Swenson and I became regularly published automobile writers. There was no competition for our husband-and-wife automotive writing team publishing fair-minded articles considering both sexes.

As automobile writers we have access to the number one executive, to the proving grounds, private racetracks, factories and assembly plants, design studios, designers, engineers, racing drivers and every type of character you could imagine it takes to assemble an automobile. All the automakers gave us two different new cars delivered to our home with a full tank of gas weekly. All travel expenses paid to an exotic location at four star hotels and five-star restaurants for test driving hand built cars before mass production. A good review is the expected compensation.

Exclusive Mercedes Briefing for the Handpicked Press

After a few decades of free cars I couldn’t take it anymore. Nobody would publish our reviews of bad cars. We stop accepting automaker graft over a decade ago to deep dive into the ultra sophisticated world of retail car sales exclusively what happens at the dealership.

Before AutoAdvisor only brokers existed who were paid and controlled by the car dealer. Our flat rate service was the first to offer a technological and psychological assessment of your situation then make precise vehicle and option recommendations. Much like a tailor helps you pick a material then fits a suit. We arranged your test drives. Guided your choices based on your priorities and finally orchestrated the complete transaction without raising your blood pressure.

Now everybody wants to get into the act. There are old-fashioned local brokers and new fashioned national brokers all over. There are a number of quality independent Buyer’s Services that work exclusively for the buyer. Dealers and brokers want you to confuse the two .Do not confuse the two

Millions of people go to the Internet daily for car buying information to make a better choice and avoid ripoff. Many study up to become temporary experts. Closing the sale on an automobile has become a sophisticated art that usually requires about 17 signatures and initials. The customers are led and controlled along the way with micro-behavioral targeting. Automobile advertising grooms you.

So many buyers rehearsed plans fall apart during the closing process. Salespeople, particularly Closers are experts at financial emotional interrogation. More time is spent in a sophisticated, psychological arena called the “Closing Room” or “Box” or “Magic Room” than a decade ago.

Too many folks spend more time in the dealership than they’d planned. Too many spend more money than they had planned. Too many are not exactly sure what they purchased. Too many are fraudulently overcharged. Frankly I think it’s difficult to transact an automobile without some kind of misrepresentation going on.

The Smartphone Pro-Consumer revolution has begun. Now here’s an idea you’re sure to like; photograph anything you are expected to sign or initial, front and back so it’s readable and send it to us. At least keep it for your own protection.

The whole auto industry is now focusing on the financial success of the closing room. It’s like sunlight through a magnifying glass focusing on an ant. Now they’ve got you where they want you with no outside influence.

‘Not Anymore, Not Anymore.’ You’re Not Alone Anymore with AutoAdvisor and your Smartphone on ‘Buy Day’ and in the Closing Room. Working exclusively to uphold your best interests and outcome.

Who else offers such a service and care?

Or In Other Words

As a child the bicycle gave me independence that was fantastic. In adolescence a passion for automobiles grew. Low, sleek, fast, light and windswept was my taste. Greater independence was my goal. Reading and studying everything possible relative to automobiles was a thrill.

It wasn’t a thrill finding out all the physical damage automobiles caused. It was also sad to hear about all the financial damage resulting from personal transportation.

It was not a thrill to learn the history of automakers working hard to ruin public transportation routes of trolleys and buses. It was not a thrill to learn about the powerful control automakers and dealers have on our media. Automotive advertisers and others have strong control of electronic media. Automotive retailers have powerful control in all state governments.

When automakers lie to millions of people about fuel economy or pollution or safety most professional auto writers completely avoids the issue. It is business, economic and health reporters that cover these major stories. They are covered in a weak fashion. Automobile writers are deliberately kept away from automobile dealerships.

Working with local, national and international, print, radio and television for many decades I understand and know how our media keeps you ignorant. Mass media appeals to our emotions, advertises to the point of brainwashing, distracting you from your most important issues while conditioning you to pay too much for what is wasteful and soon to be obsolete. Not by accident.

Yes I still love cars and bicycles and all vehicles that have the ability to transport us and our thoughts. Transporting and sharing with others is powerful good. Can you walk? Can you bicycle? Must you drive? We love and depend on our cars and loved driving them.

Autoadvisor.com is about you staying in control of your transportation. Automobiles absorb a tremendous amount of time and money. It’s the most expensive item most Americans will ever buy. Plus it’s your most time consuming machine to own.

Chicanery has been part of automobile selling from the start. The technology has always been complex and baffling. The transaction has been stacked against you, legally. Automakers and dealers spend billions to convince and even hammer you to spend past your need or means.

The automobile is the most technological product you will ever buy. These technologies lend themselves to sophisticated overcharging, rampant scams and rip-offs.

In my own life, the first two cars I bought were a fiasco. Back then, in 1970 you did not have public data about what is safe or reliable. I knew little about engineering or technology for comparison shopping. It was before crash tests, safety studies, and price and reliability information. Rumor, Racing and advertising ruled.

The first used-car I saw, I purchased at the price asked without a test drive. My second car was a Triumph. It looked sleek and fast. It turned out to be the sellers triumph and my defeat. I ignorantly lost thousands of dollars then.

The next 7 years I studied automotive technology. It was then I realized dealers and automakers were investing more money in marketing and advertising than they were into research and development. How you perceive a car is more important to the automaker than what the automobile actually is. For example the image of safety is more important to profits than actual safety.

Controversial Traffic Death Thermometer

The automobile has killed and injured more Americans in all wars the United States has engaged in. Please look through your windshield and ask; Where is the War?

In capitalism, we keep casual about these statistics. Local news has at least one crash per broadcast. All traffic reports are mostly crash reports with rubbernecking involved. This is good to keep us desensitized about the true expense and horror of the automobile.

Whenever I speak in front of a live audience I always ask,” please raise your hand if you have been involved, ever in an automobile impact situation”I was shocked the first time I asked when most everybody’s hand went up. Here’s why; 35 million crashes per year in the United States and our population is under 330 million. Odds are you will be in an impact situation in the next 10 years.

Being First Is Not Always Best

Keeping automobiles casual distracts us from demanding more and better. In most states, automotive dealers are big contributors to local politicians. Dealer owners run for office and serve for their own benefit. They bend the state laws in their favor to be anti-consumer, anti-competitive and anti-automaker. The dealers shun new technologies. New car dealerships are an obsolete system of distribution and support.

TAKING AWAY YOUR CIVIL RIGHTS!

Dealers are consistently taking away consumer rights and fair competition state by state. Potential buyers have lowered expectations and are less demanding. Time and money is wasted. Consumers are frustrated and insulted.

Automobiles cause financial devastation too. Lending institutions and dealerships are more than happy to help us bite off more than we can chew. What appeared to be an small monthly charge adds up to well over $1000! The cost of a crash may be thousands more than your coverage.

In the 1990’s as the Internet rose so did dealer control, much like they controlled the newspapers. They have also taken over your local television news. The national automotive press is anesthetized by endless payola.

People are happy with their deal , because most have no idea they’ve been overcharged. Often, thousands of dollars are overpaid. Lawyers credit, “The Magic Room” in the dealer and what goes on there. Dealers still use the Hull-Dobbs system to get you.

You are faced with going back and forth on computer and with different people. Taking hours, keeping you waiting. They’ve choreographed theatrical presentation to push you further. They give you ultimatums to extract the most from your wallet, with a smile, of course. They do it 10 times a day and it all seems so natural.

You have done vehicle and purchase research but nobody has explained in detail the systematic pressure routine they will apply to you. You don’t want to miss a good deal. You hope they offer something worthwhile for good deal?

I, Ashly Knapp developed AutoAdvisor to stop; overpaying, criminal behavior and ripoff at the source, in the dealer where it happens.

Have AutoAdvisor.com double check all the individual prices and totals. Have AutoAdvisor tell you about contractual tricks in the tiny print. Have AutoAdvisor tell you how to get what you want, nicely. We are quick to become your teammate with positive coaching words and thoughts to improve your transaction all around.

Assembly Workers being trained by engineers
Humans Still do the Majority of Assembly

AutoAdvisor information and original research is so accurate we grew by word-of-mouth. Our clients were demanding AutoAdvisor to do complete transactions from start to finish. We went nationwide with 800-326-1976 and overnight delivery a decade before the computer age. AutoAdvisor worked and cared for consumers exclusively. We charge an economical one time fee no matter what the car price.

We know it’s as easy to order and negotiate a Toyota as it is a Bugatti or Bentley so we set up the first Automobile Buyer’s Service.

AutoAdvisor’s Buyer’s Service was unique; our clients remained anonymous, we took no money or compensation from car dealers in any way. No other business offered any make or model of automobile or truck anywhere in the 50 states researched to be at the absolute lowest price with a money back guarantee. We remain proud.

Our Research allowed us to guarantee the “Absolute Lowest Price” or your money back. That was the fun of it. We developed a method and a routine to consistently produce the absolute lowest price. Or we could teach you How To via our consulting and information service.

The media has been good to us. For over a decade Money Magazine and Smart Money used our information as the last word on pricing. We have had write ups in many national magazines. Our clients see us on national television news and lifestyle shows like Oprah  and others besides hearing us on radio.

Early on the Internet in 1994, what we did by telephone & fax we began to do in concert with the World Wide Web. we became AutoAdvisor.com.  We always believe in personal work so the telephone remains our currency of best understanding in. In 2014 we began to curtailed our Buyer’s Service.

We Now offer a new level of personal experience, unlike anything available. AutoAdvisor stops fraud and saves you money exclusively In The Dealer.

AutoAdvisor.com provides you with convenience and comfort while guiding you through a complex situation comfortably, honorably for you.

Thank You,  Ashly Knapp, founder
